We have received 17 letters in an attempt to collect on a "state income tax", "county tax lien", and unspecified "state back taxes". We knew right away that it was a scam but I wanted to report it to ScamPulse.com so that I may draft a cease and desist letter.

Type of a scam Tax Collection
We have received 8 notices in the mail concerning a state lien from "The Taxing Authority" offering to settle our lien for 10% of tax. We have also received a number ( 9-10) phone calls.
We do not have a tax lien…..i had lien search prepared.
