Type of a scam Employment
I was told that I was being interviewed via Google Hangout. I was given the name of the person I would be speaking to via Hangout and that it would be an online interview. Its been 8 yrs since I last applied for a job and thought wow how times have changed. I was told that they were opening an office in my location and that until it opened I would be able to work from home. I would be getting $18 an hour for training and once training was done I would be getting $25.oo an hour. I was asked a series of questions and once I answered them told that I was hired. I started to be skeptical when I was hired online. They told me that they would send me a laptop and a check in order to buy the software needed for the job. Thanks to the BBB I was able to speak with someone who verified that this was a scam, just as I had figured. I had two companies approach me for online interviews and both were generated thru ziprecruiter. So be careful and make sure if you have any doubts to ask the ScamPulse.com.
