Caller claims to offer lower rate on electricity. Caller claims that their company will waive all fees for transmission, distribution, maintenance, FMCC, carbon, etc.
Caller tries *desperately* to get me to read "Service Reference" number – obviously the key to allow them to SLAM my account.
They may be authorized alternative billing providers, but I know a scam when I hear one.
Caller said he was in CT, but the quality of the call declared otherwise.
Caller said his name was John, but his accent screamed that too was a lie.
