Accepted a promotional offer from TruBelleza.com for a cream for dry skin. Pay only for 2.95 (USD) shipping and you will be sent a 30 day supply of this cream. I supplied my credit card information and contact number and immediately started getting calls for buying additional product. My credit card was not only charged for shipping Pure Skin but another charge appeared on my credit card from Hefei CHN for $7.08 .
My credit card company notified me about suspicious activity on my card and also mentioned that TruBelleza (a.k.a Instalift) would automatically be charging monthly for more product. For safety safe, my card was cancelled. Nowhere in the promotional literature did I read anything about this monthly charge and when I called their support line they assured me that the conditions are listed. I told them to cancel immediately but they refused to return the shipping costs and said that the cream was on its way and since I was cancelling they requested $39.99 payment for this ‘free promotional offer’. I let them know verbally that I would not be paying and sent them a follow up e-mail, as well. Buyer beware – this company and their affiliates are outright scams. If you receive numerous calls from this company or their affiliates, without permission of course, make sure you demand that they put you on the no call list.
