Type of a scam Online Purchase

An email came to my computer with subject of receipt for purchase. When I opened it I found it had the ****** *****  logo but was addressed Dear User: It continued to show a receipt for purchase of a $3,000 Smart TV that was to be delivered to an address in Delaware. I live in Maryland. There was a phone number to call if there was a question. I called the number (listed above) and a man answered who had an African

accent. I could hear a lot of talking in the background as if this was a call center. He tells me that there is not only a TV but an iPhone also ordered on my account but ordered from 2 different cities.. One from Ohio. I told him I did not order either one and to cancel both of them. He said someone must have hacked into my account. He could assist me in cancelling them but it had to be done from my account. He could help me cancel them once I logged in and put in my password.. At this point I felt this was definitely a scam and told him I could go into my account myself and cancel any order that did not belong to me and I certainly did not need his help to do it. I then hung up the phone. The word receipt was misspelled in the subject.
