Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Walmart asked me to be a secret shopper via email. The email had a phone number, which I called. It went straight to voicemail. Received a check in the mail three weeks later, Priority Mail envelope. Letter called me a secret customer, said my job was to evaluate customer service and contact my supervisor Michael Kent. My instructions were to deposit check $1275.98, then text a number. Keep $200, do a Walmart to Walmart wire of the remainder. Walmart says that they have their own people do secret shopping.
