Type of a scam Employment

ProRam reached out me about a project manager position. They claimed to be in Philadelphia soon to open a new office near where I live. After some emails, I was interviewed only by phone. Then sent a contract to sign. They offered a 4 week remote training I would have to pass to get the job. They would pay $2,000 for the training. The salary and process seemed too good, so I was weary.Affter doing some research, I found similar scenarios on BBB(one exactly the same except different names) and decided to no longer respond to their emails.

Here’s a section of an email of who they claim to be:

We are a nationwide direct lender with a focus on the small and medium

the equipment and financing they need to grow and stay competitive.

We develop our customer relationships through direct marketing to

business owners as well as establishing referral programs with

Due to ongoing expansion, we now have openings in your area and are

looking for a Project Manager to join our new department.
