Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was applying for jobs on Indeed and craigslist and I was contacted by “Phillip Huddleson” about a secret shopper job. I didn’t reply to any of the emails because I thought it was scam. They mailed me instructions about the job assignment as well as a check. I didn’t send out any of the account information, but I did the assignment under the imperssion this was a job. I’ve emailed him about a phone number and he has yet to reply. I contacted the bank just to be sure that everything was legitimate. I found out today via CSR at citizens bank that the check was returned. I have all the emails that were sent to me as well. I’ve attached the packaged it was sent to me in and the senders information.
