Checked my credit card account & found they charged me $119.97. I purchase Nano Tape (free just pay shipping) in MAY 2020. Searched, found they tel # (888) 240-1620, called, spoke to a Hazel (Asian accent), who cancelled my “Membership” (the one I never applied for nor agreed to) & promised the $$ will be back in my account in 5 to 7 days. We shall see. If it is not, I will dispute with Card Services.
Oh yea, it was under WRENWARMUSCLE8553489601
Grocery
on my cc account btw.
I too was scammed out of $119.97, but i went on a mission to find them. I emailed this quickpickgadgets company and they responded that it was for a membership fee, which I wanted no parts of. As soon as I tried to email again to say cancel my order, my email would no longer go through. I became enraged! I found the VIP Membership Company that they signed me up for (855)225-3139. I called and went OFF!. I told them it was a scam. Of course they denied it. But today my bank acct has been credited the money minus the shipping fee $1.95 as they stated the tape was already shipped. I was very nasty and although out of my usual character, I don’t like trickery. Call them and get your money back!
I too have been scammed by A Cooler Place aka quickpickgadgets. I ordered the mini bag sealer for $1.95. Received and email “welcoming me to the cooler place family” |I checked my bank account as I am on social security retirement and must keep track of my money. There was a charge for 83.99 from FalagZone. My bank has investigated and I received documentation that I will not receive a refund bacause they say I purchased a pre workout for 53.99. That is not what I ordered or received. I received the mini bag sealer which is junk. I called the phone number on my email and the rep was very rude. Told me I was signed up for a year and could not get a refund. After arguing with him he offered a refund of half price which I refused. If you can do anything about this I would so appreciate it. My email is [email protected]
I was also a victim to this scam. Ordered a $1.97 bag sealer and was charged $119.97. There was no information about a VIP Membership. I contacted quickpickgadgets immediately, and finally got thru a few days later. I was told that I had signed up for the VIP membership. I told them no I haven’t and they offered me a 25% discount, I refused so they offered me 50% refund. I refused and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on. I sent numerous emails requesting what membership I joined and a website, but was again offered the 50% with now a $500 credit on the site. I was not about to give them any further information in order for me to receive this and I’m sure that the offer was a scam also..
Anyone know how to get any of our money back or to somehow shut them down?
Ordered on line a ‘Mini Bag Sealer’ for $1.95 which was to cover shipping as this item was to be FREE. Said was $24.95 but a huge 100% discount. Allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. Invoice #2EBCA4F789 with [email protected] I checked my bank account to see how much was in my checking as I live off disability and it showed only $20 that this company had taken out $83.99, this is FRAUD. Please check into this matter and get back with me. My email is [email protected] or you can send by mail to: Phyllis Odom 1109 Lenora Lane, Andalusia, Al. 36421. Thanks!

They offered FREE Nano tape jut pay postage of $1.95when you get the receipt from your credit card they had charged $83.50
Called them and they said it was because I had joined their subscription. I told them no I hadn’t joined anything. We went around & around, then he said all I can do is charge you the normal price plus postage. $40.00 he said he could cancel the subscription But I had to pay for the tapeBecause it had already been shipped. Bologna it was late. Friday night and I called them early Saturday.
I ordered the Nano Liquid Screen Protector from an ad on Facebook. My card was charged $83.50 for Nano Liquid Screen Protector which was selling for $1.95. The charge on the card came up as Wren Zone Keto which I did NOT order. The next day I get an email welcoming me to the Cooler Place Family and the charge on my bank statement would show up as wrendeals.com. I never signed up for anything other than purchasing the screen protector. THIS IS A SCAM! Very misleading advertising.
Me too except mine showed a company called PLACEALTENDORF with a # to call 855-738-9976 MN. I was never able to reach them. Got a recording that all reps were busy and to wait until one became available. That never happened. My bank is investigating but said since I ordered the product I’m responsible for the $1.95 and it’s not really fraud just an overcharge. They”are” investigating,
yeah right.I will document this site and others and prove to them it is fraud then hopefully I will get my money back.
Hi , I got ripped off of 80. and cents of a ordered i canceled over and over again. Called 4 times, send e-mails and they still took my money on a canceled order. The name on my bank account was Bakitrustket. Phone no.1-855-225-3139. [email protected] was finally found. The one answering my call when i got through the line argued, and wanted too send me a discount price. I said:: Cancel the order. I repeated 3 times or more. Then offered too send me half of my money back. Again he argued, then he said i will have the manager call you. I gave my number which i had done in e-mails. All day i waited. NO Phone Call! 80 some dollars for a roll of tape , no way, in this whole wide world NO Tape is worth 80.00 some dollars. I am so upset that these criminals getaway with this crap! And saw reviews of this Nano tape,it is worthless. It all is a fraud!
i also was charged 83.50 for nano screen protector instead of 1.95 how do i get my money back
I was charged 83.66 for a roll of tape? I was told it was 1.95! That is a huge difference! I am done! Cancel my order Invoice number E88DC74237

I purchased nano magic tape on July 16 2020 for 1.95. I was then charged 83.50 for some company called lavish electronics . I then received an email stating thank you for joining our discount club. I sent them one stating that I did not join their discount club. As of this posting I’m still waiting a response. I filed a complaint with my bank. I found out that they are listed under multiple names and the 2 phone number s i found no one answered. Buyers beware!
On July 15th, 2020, I responded to an ad for something that was supposed to cover your cell phone with a sheet of nano liquid. The ad showed the liquid as free, with a shipping charge of $1.95. I did not see, nor did I check any other boxes. Soon after I got a message from my credit card company that they had a suspicious charge for $83.50 for Wren Marketing. I had never heard of Wren Marketing, so I looked back at my online orders, unfortunately, I found one for $83.50 for prescription drugs, so I confirmed the credit card charge. Later that day I got an email from The Cooler Place, again never heard of them. In the letter I was advised I had authorized a charge for $83.50 for a years subscription to some kind of discount online store and that the charge would be placed as Wren Marketing on my credit card. I immediately called my credit card consumer affairs. The charge was still in process, so I was advised I would have to wait until it cleared to dispute the charge. I emailed The Cooler Place and got no satisfaction. I replied back that I wanted a complete refund and did not wish to have any business relationship with them at all. I did not want the nano-liquid and I wanted the shipping cost back also. Again I got an email response like I had told them I was happy to be on the hook for $83.50 for something I did not order and did not want. This email explained that there was an opt-in box that was checked for the years subscription. Unless the box was pre-checked, I did not check it, nor did I even see it. They graciously offered to refund me 50% of the $83.50 and with that I could continue to shop their online store. Again I told them I did not want anything to do with them and I wanted a full refund. I advised them that I was aware of the many complaints against them lodged in the Better Business Bureau.

on July 5, 2020, I responded to a FaceBook popup ad for Nano Magic Tape for $1.95 to cover shipping.
on July 5th, I received an email order confirmation, that stated "As promised, we’ve granted you access to our monthly discount club. Thanks to our monthly members like you, we’re able to provide these insane discounts on HOT products, only by keeping it small and very "hush-hush". Once again, please remember that on your credit card statement this charge will show as workhardpadilla.com." address
2614 San Salvador St, Laredo, TX, 78046, USA, email [email protected], telephone 855-400-1813. I had no idea what the "as promised" monthly discount club was as there was no reference to this in the FaceBook offer. I checked the website noted and found that Work Hard Padilla offered a Pre Workout dietary supplement. I immediately emailed them requesting an immediate refund since i had not authorized this purchase. I have not received a return email.
on July 6th I checked my bank account and noticed a charge of $83.66 from padillencephalon.com, 2614 San Salvador St, Laredo, TX, 78046, USA telephone 855-392-6284, email [email protected] I immediately emailed them requesting an immediate refund since i had not authorized the purchase of Padillen Cephalon Brain supplements. I have not received a return email.
Finally on July 7th, I called the padillencephalon customer support number and they told me that the amount charged was a membership fee. I advised i knew nothing about a membership fee and requested a full refund. They advised that they could only refund $40.85 which they would process immediately and sent me a confirmation email for order #********** Refund Amount $40.85, Refund Date 07/07 12:56pm,
Transaction ID **********. The explanation for why they could not refund the full amount made no sense.
I have truly been scammed and I am hoping that you can assist me in getting the full refund.

They also use the email of [email protected] Below are the website and payment page I copied and pasted, clearly showing $1.95 what I was supposed to be charged when in fact they charged me $80 plus dollars!!! the phone number is fake and I’m sure I’ll hear nothing from the email I sent to the contact info address. PLEASE don’t allow these crooks to steal your money! It was an ad on Facebook for nano magic tape advertising it for free. I checked it out and was sure the shipping fee was going to be outlandish but was surprised that it was only $1.95. BOY WAS I TRULY SURPRISED when I saw my account was charged $83.50!!!

Offers Nano Tape for free with only $1.95 shipping. Charges end up on cc of $83.66 (ranges from $50s-80s it seems). The check out page only listed the $1.95 shipping, for a total of $1.95. There was no mention of an additional VIP charge.
Emails from customer service said I opted into VIP membership. Additional emails from customer service said there were checkboxes to opt-in or out on the product page and checkout, but there were none. It was only mentioned in the terms link at bottom of the website, but no requirement to read those prior to purchase. I have screenshots during purchase and also after they said it was on their page… I’m assuming they will add them to the page since I mentioned they were not there as told. This company has no listed phone number I can find, but in the emails say to call or email. They also offer 100% satisfaction but if you read terms it says $4.95 restock charge for returns and no prorate on membership fees.

Spendsavers posts an add on Facebook They offer you a roll of tape for shipping of $1.95 and then hit your account for $83.66 for some kind of vitamin membership. I even went back and read the fine print and there was nothing whatsoever about any membership fee of $83.66. when I got an email it came from wrenzone.com. not magic tape like the cart says. which led to a vitamin website. Not the roll of tape I Originally ordered. I was finally able to find a phone number and call them and they insist that they cannot refund your money. They actually hung up on me!!. I called back again, got the exact same person I spoke to before that hung up on me and they offered me a 70% refund. Total scam! I am on disability and they took $83.66 from me, which I can’t do anything about, except fight through my bank after the charge has finished processing. and who knows how long that will take!

Same thing with me. I found this cool tape on Facebook, said I was only be charged 1.95 and then I found another charge for 83.50. Did research and BBB and this is a major on the surface legit scam. I did screenshots and for me, it never stated anything about the VIP club, so I am disputing with my bank. I suggest the same. If the company gets too many chargebacks, they will investigate, and since it’s over multiple state lines, it now Federal. My question, is with so many obvious complaints, and bad reviews, why is Facebook still allowing?

There was an add on Facebook for free magic tape just pay shipping of $1.99. I said okay to $1.99. However I was billed $59.49. That is not okay. I did not approve that. Companies should not be taking people for granted. I can’t afford the $59.49. Please be very careful. I thought I was. However I have been scammed.
I ordered some nano tape that was listed for shipping only of $1.95. They then charged my card for $57.99. It was for a membership I had no idea about. I ordered some Nano Tape from them from a video game advertisment, it doesn’t work like the add says it does.I ordered it back on March 11th and it was supposed to be free with like $7.00 shipping and handling but they charged me $59.96! I wasn’t expecting to be chargedsuch an extravagant amount a;so wasn,t expecting to wait 2 months for delivery. They will not refund your money so GOOD LUCK you won’t get it back! I clicked on the ad through a game for POWERFUL ALL PURPOSE FOAM CLEANER – Boom Wash and I went through the process to enter my name and info to order the product for $1.95 but I immediately got a fraud notification from my credit card company and they actually charged me $58.75 instead. I contacted my credit card company and they can’t do anything about it since I actually ordered something from them that they just overcharged me and to contact the company directly to see if they will resolve the issue. I immediately emailed back the company (within 34 minutes to be exact) because the confirmation does not anywhere include a phone number to call. I received an email back from them 3 minutes later telling me that I had signed up for some VIP membership for a year and that was the extra $56.80 even though it never asked or told me about any VIP membership and I did not click on anything to approve that. The email was the first I had heard of that. They also told me that they could not refund my money or my order because it was too late and it was at the fulfillment center already. I find it very hard to believe that they could not cancel and order within 30 minutes of receiving it.
