Type of a scam Charity
Shared through the social media app of Instagram, Peachy Swim Co., an uprising swimwear company started a campaign aimed to donate meals to children around the world. Simple enough, to earn a free swimsuit all you had to do was pay for shipping which was only about $11.00, however you had to put in a card obviously. So I purchased my (mostly) free swimsuit and waited. It has now almost been 2 months and nothing has arrived. I have looked at their Instagram and all the commenting sections on their recent posts have been disabled due to people complaining. Hundreds of other people are complaining of the same thing and due to the company being completely unresponsive it’s clear it’s a scam. I find it disgusting for someone to disguise what would be a great charity into a scam to steal from others. Fraud is a crime and I want my money back, not really for myself but just because this so called “company” does not deserve a penny.
