Type of a scam Debt Collections
Anna Crawford called Thursday, March 2, stating that she was employed by the above named company and was attempting to collect a debt. She told my husband, *** *** ***, that if he didn’t make a payment that it would be handled in court. To prevent such action, my husband gave her his debit card number against my wishes and the money was debited from out account. I went home and found the bank statement where the bill was paid in full. When we attempted to call her back on the previous number (9180) to get out money back, it had been disconnected. She called back Monday, March 6, from the 0147 number again inquiring about the second half of the payment, which is not owed. Please check into this company and email me at *** to let me know if this company is legit. I pay my bills and will continue to do so, but the bill that they are calling about was paid in full in the amount of 71.00 and they are claiming that I owe $693.92 for that same bill.
