Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This scammer, "Edward Bronson" contacted me via email to offer me a secret shopper opportunity with Kroger. I responded via email with my name and address only.
A week later, I received another email. It looked suspicious, so I deleted. A few days later I received a USPS Priority mail envelope with a $1880 check and a lengthy letter requesting I purchase $1600 worth of iTunes gift cards. I was then told to scratch off the area where the serial number is. Then take photos of the numbers and text the pics to 631-812-7213
