Type of a scam Debt Collections
I get about 10 calls a day on my cell from different numbers all claiming to be Plus One wanting to discuss collection issues from a cash loan business, they said they bought out a bad debt collection. They have now started calling my work and told me I was going to be served for over $5,500.00 in charges and court costs unless I was to settle now for $2,009.18. The person was a woman who calls and states she is going to serve me and if I want to stop the court proceedings I am to call a different number. I did and a man answers and makes the deal then transfers you to someone else so you can give them your credit card or bank card number to stop all charges. I hung up. They leave voice messages but never from the same number. They have the last 4 of my social and know the street I live on, when speaking with the woman who was to serve me she refused to come serve me at work when I told them they could come here. She stated they have protocol to follow and due to embarrassing situations they declined to do so.
