Type of a scam Phishing
This is the first I had heard of any scam like this. It is a terrifying prospect initially, like looking down the barrel of a dirty-laundry gun. But I urge people to keep in mind what is listed in the email. DON’T interact with any links. DON’T respond to the email. Keep a level head, do your research, look at the body of the email. What concerns me with this is that my name was included in the body of the email. But, there’s no other information.
It also goes: Hey, here’s your work email. Ha! Joke’s on you! I’m an unemployed student!
My advice is be mindful. Take a breath and think. These predators hunt with shock and prey on those who react.
