FAKE Puget Sound Energy representative by the name of Lukas : called my business to say my utility payment was delinquent and insisted my business pay him $1100.00 in CASH or my electricity would be shut off.
I immediately called Puget Sound Energy and verified that my account was in fact up to date.

We got a phone call from someone saying that they worked for PSE and that we where late on our bill and it was up for disconnection and that they had someone on route to come and disconnect. i was to call the number they provided and i was to talk to the manager there to see if we could make a payment over the phone using a credit card. i called the number and the guy on the phone said that my bill was 490 and that they had someone already in route to come and disconnect. the only was to stop that disconnection was to make a payment over the phone and he would get a hold of the dispatcher to cancel but i needed to pay over the phone and NO i could not go to the office it would already be to late since the person was already on his way. i had someone else on the phone with PSE to confirm that that was true and they said to hangup that it was a scam.

I received a call stating that it was from PSE and that my power was scheduled to be turned off in 45 minutes due to an outstanding bill. They asked me to provide a credit card number to pay my bill to avoid shut off. I asked for their phone number to call back as I knew that my bill was up to date. It did not match Puget Sound Energy’s normal number. I did confirm that my bill is up to date just to be sure. The phone number they asked me to call back on was 800-981-3103.
