Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted about a work from home position as a personal assistant working 11 hours per week, and getting paid nearly 1000$ per week. The person contacting me said that I would be responsible for making purchases for his construction company and responding to messages on his behalf. I felt a little suspicious about it, so I asked if he would be willing to pay me up front and send a check to my house. He agreed, and says that my payment should arrive by thursday, but hasn’t given me a tracking number from USPS. He also gave a vague explanation that the money he’s giving me should also be used to make purchases of building materials, but didn’t specify exactly what was needed.
