Type of a scam Credit Cards
I own a photography company and I have been noticing a scam going around. Basically you receive a text message from a "potential customer" about a job with a family reunion. They create a sense like they are going to book you. If you follow it through they start talking about an event coordinator or planner. They ask if they can pay you by credit card. If you say yes, they tell you their event coordinator will not accept payment by credit card and ask if you would mind adding the coordinator’s fee to your bill and the customer will pay you if you pay the event coordinator. I believe they are just looking for credit card information and that if the photographer paid the event coordinator they would never receive that money back.
