Type of a scam Debt Collections
I was contacted by Global Services on 1.3.17. I was told I took out a payday loan on 2.7.11, with a company called Alliance, online. Westgate Group, LLC hired Global Services to contact me. I supposedly took out a $400 payday loan and now I owe over $700, due to fees. I never ever took out this payday loan. I am at a loss how anyone got ahold of my personal information, including my Social Security number. I have never received any correspondence in the mail either. This was almost 6 years ago!!! I would love to have proof. I asked how to stop this harassment and was told they would waive the fees if I paid $400!!! Why would I pay if I did not take this loan out? This is a SCAM!!!!
