Phone call flagged as likely scam.
Caller knew my first name.
Introduced as "Police Officer’s Alliance"; asked if I would be willing to make a 50, 35, or 25 dollar donation to help injured police officers and lobby for harsher penalties against those who injure police officers. Asked if I would be comfortable having an envelope sent to me.
After I said I would be willing donate, was passed on to another person who also asked if I would be comfortable having an envelope sent to me.
Then I pretended the line had gone dead.
