Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I was told I had been entered into the sweepstakes by Walmart or Rite Aid for paying my bills on time. I was given package numbers for a one time check of $985,000 and for a $5,000 amount per month for the rest of my life. I was then instructed to go to the Walmart and ask for a "one vanilla prepaid VISA card for $299. After doing that I was to call their agent at the number above and then the agent and a delivery team would come to my home and deliver the one time check. Law enforcement officers were supposed to be with the team at the delivery.

Caller said I was guaranteed an early bird prize of $1000 that I had already won. I was suppose to call back at 404-400-6634 to claim the prize with a reference number. Then he told me that in addition to the $1000 Prize I would get one of 3 prizes 1)$25,000 2)A Ford Explorer/$20,000 3) Plasma TV/$2000 because I was the selected winner from Utah. He went on to tell me that before I can get my prized I need to order a magazine. It would cost $3.99/Week. I could choose the first one and then I would also get 2 free. The only way to pay for the magazine subscription was to pay by a Credit Card over the phone. I explained that I was not going to give my information over the phone and he informed me that If I didn’t give him my CC number then I would win nothing. That is when I knew it was a scam.
