I received the same series of emails from “PetroNova” after applying on ZipRecruiter to an ad supposedly placed by Integrity Financial for an HR role in Miami. The grammar and terminology in the correspondence was professional. I searched online for information on the company and the people with whom I appeared to be corresponding and there is enough shadow of truth to keep me hooked. I had even spoke to an “HR representative” via telephone, also believable. However, asking me to front the money for the work visa caused me to dig deeper. The amount requested was not aligned with the official amounts. Thank God for friends who know how to dig even further. Trust your gut and verify!

I applied to a job ad that said they were hiring for a HR Business Partner position in Tampa FL. on ZipRecruiter job posting webste on 12/18/19. I received several emails stating my application was received and then was sent a employment questionnaire. Later I received an email stating I was hired along with an employment agreement that stated I had to pay for my VISA application and any fees.
