Type of a scam Moving
We found this ad for this company on kijiji and contacted them to ask for help moving furniture from my grandma’s house to my mom’s house. They quoted us $300 and asked for it to be sent via email transfer. We transferred the money the day before the move. They showed up 1 hour late to my grandma’s house, and took almost 2 hours to move a minimal amount of furniture into their truck. Once everything was loaded they demanded an additional $600 or they would leave the furniture on the sidewalk. We were forced to have to pay. When they got to my mom’s house, the furniture had become all damaged, they left it on the front lawn and disappeared. They will not return my phone calls. They keep changing their phone numbers and the ad’s on kijiji. This is a scam!!!! BEWARE!!!
