These Scammer’s are very convincing. They claimed they were calling on behalf of Frontier to lower our current rates because some "Fair Practice Law" had been passed forcing Frontier to provide fairer rates!
I told her that if she was with frontier then she should already know what package we carry. She said, "Frontier only provide’s a phone number, that’s it". Once I said OK she transferred me to a man.
He said his name was Russell. He asked what my package was and then assumed I was paying around $250 a month and he could lower that rate by $50 or more. I laughed and told him I payed around $180. He replied, "well WE can lower THAT rate by $50". I told him that I would need to consult with my adviser, could he provide me with a return phone number and his extension. He gave me the 855-359-2668 # after a long hesitation.
I immediately contacted the BBB. ( please note all the information I gave them was as false as their company)
