Type of a scam Government Agency Imposter
Received a voicemail from a person named Johannas stating she was from OSHA and had received a complaint about Covid 19 and other infectious diseases at our business and asked for me to call back and give information such as contact phone number and email address. The number came up as a wireless call on caller ID. I have the voicemail if someone would like to hear it. I did try to call back so that I could provide additional information but there was no answer and voicemail was not set up.
She called me back and told me her supervisor’s name was Gary and that I could speak with him to verify she was with OSHA. She also said the complaint involved rats in the workplace on the second floor. We don’t have a second floor in our business.
