I received an error message on my phone saying that my phone didn’t have virus protection on it and that I needed to reach out to OpticomSolutions immediate to install the software. Shortly after that, OpticomSolutions called me on the phone, asked for my credit card and accepted payment of $59 for a service charge, to "gain access to my phone to resolve the issue". They then stated they needed to install the virus protection. I gave them $99 for this,so they charged my credit card once again. After I got off the phone with them, I realized that I had probably been scammed and tried to call them back. However, the number they called me from was disconnected and I was unable to reach them from that point on.
