Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
It was both a fake invoice and a fake contract for advertising with them. I signed an advertising deal with them for the CES Tradeshow 2015, cost 2995.00. This year, 2016, they sent me an invoice for advertising with them for 2016 and 2017 in the amount of 5990.00. I told them I never agreed to advertise with them for 2016 and 2017. They then sent me the 2015 contract, that they wrote all over, crossing out 2015, changing it to 2017, adding 2016 as well, with advertising costs in the amount of 5990.00. They told me if I did not pay that amount, they would sue me in Pima County and cost me more money than if I settled with them. They filed the law suit, I said they would see me in court. A hearing was set for April 8th, 2016. Their attorney phoned me while I was driving to Tucson from the Phoenix airport and asked me if I wanted settle. No way. I flew in from FL with a witness, whet to the hearing and won. They have complaint after complaint. Read about them on the internet. They must have hundreds of people they do this to, but most people settle and pay them something, because flying into AZ, is costly. I am happy I took a stand. Now I am going in for recovery my costs. Look at the image of the contract! Yet, I had to pay it to avoid a judgement or fight it in court. I chose to stand up to them.
