Type of a scam Phishing
I was contacted by these people by phone. I don’t answer phone calls from numbers I don’t know, so they left a phone message. It said that there was a pending court case against me and and my relative(they named my son) and that they needed to bring me papers in reference to a case #____. If I did not call them back by 5 that night they would proceed with the court case. I ignored this as the courts will contact me by phone or by serving me personally.
A week later these same people tried again to contact me and when I again did not get back to them, they contacted my daughter, telling her that I had 2 hours to call them or they would go ahead with the court case.
beware people, they not only are coming after you, but they know your family as well. Fortunately, my children are smarter than these crooks.
