Type of a scam Employment
I apologize if this is not the proper place to write a complaint such as this. I’m not even sure if ScamPulse.com can take these kinds of complaints at all. However, I thought it should be made aware to the public that there is a job scam involving this business, NEOEN. I was contacted by a man who was either the chief operating officer, Paul-François Croisille, or was pretending to be him. He had offered me a job with the company and was doing an online interview with me. I’m normally very cautious of online interviews, and I am currently very happy that I was so, because the man was extremely obvious about his scam. He told me that upon being offered the job, I would receive a check in the mail and that I am to deposit it into my account where I would then pull money out to purchase work materials from one of their company’s certified vendors. Obviously as soon as I said that I would not accept a check and that I will only accept the materials be sent directly to me, the conversation was over. This was five days ago and I have yet to hear back from "Mr. Croisille". I attempted to contact the business through their website, however their phone number listed is unreachable and the section of the website where you contact them through email doesn’t properly work.
