Type of a scam Identity Theft
Received a text from a "buyer" for my car, insisting on me using a specific car fact website. After I said I only use carfax, he pushed back stating the other is cheaper and gives more info. He was insisting I use that specific website. I told him I would give him the bin so he could it and I would reimburse him the cost of the report. Then asked me to use another website. After I told him this is a known scam and if he was legit he would understand, he keeps pushing and pushing, trying to get me to buy from one of those locations.
