The National Association of Service Dogs claims to offer Service Dog certification for a fee of $74.00. Once you pay the fee they send you a blank paper card that you must fill out yourself. I never received the patch for my dog’s vest or my certification. No one ever answers their phones, every option goes to a voicemail and no calls are ever returned. I could not get my certification papers or patch, nor could I get a refund. I sent emails and faxes requesting a refund but was never answered. This is listed as a nonprofit but is obviously not legitimate.
