Type of a scam Credit Cards
A person representing themselves as someone working for State Farm Bank called today to state they needed to verify that my husband had applied for a credit card with them. When I told them no they said they would disregard the application. Secondly, my family called and said they got phone calls about the same thing that day. When we returned the phone call it was a fake number and when I contacted State Farm Bank they said they did not call us.
