Type of a scam Employment
I received a offer to become a secret shopper . I responded to the email and was told I had been excepted. They represented them selve to being a Kroger company. Today I received a Check for $2,950.00, with instructions to deposit it with in 24 hours of receiving it. Keep $300.00 for my trouble and go buy a bunch of App Store gift cards at 3 different stores. They said if there was not a lot of Krogers in the area, go to one of their affiliates to make the purchases. Well, Walmart, Walgreens and CVS are not affliates of Kroger!! Since I have worked for Kroger, I knew that was not how their secret shoppers worked. Luckily, I am not out anything but time!
