Type of a scam Online Purchase
I did a google search for a specific soccer jersey. When I tried to purchase using my credit/debit card my bank blocked the payment as fraud. Then I was contacted by email from the Changchun Weng of the vendor to pay by Western Union to ensure my payment goes through.
This company phone number on the website is New York, but the address in the email is China. When I dial the phone number it is just a constant busy signal. I see several red flags here: the bank blocking the first attempted payment, asking for my money through Western Union and a bogus phone number.
Also, this company is brand new because I have done lots of searches within the last month for the same item and this is the first I have seen of this result.
