Type of a scam Online Purchase
Solvaderm.com sells skin care products on line. They have been misleading consumers by writing product reviews and promoting their products on thebeautyinsiders.com and consumerhealthdigest.com. These websites do not disclose they are owned and operated by the same organization / people that own Solvaderm. It is very misleading to consumers. In addition, they have created fake profiles on the websites indicating specialty areas of the authors, specific educational background, and other industry specific information that is false. The profiles use stock photos and the individual people do not exist. It appears the organization is using offshore staff to write articles but they are published under people with credentials to mislead the public. In addition, people from Albania, Kenya, and other countries appear to be employed to post false statements on blogs and websites about their experience using the Solvaderm products. The Solvaderm company sends letters threatening legal action and making outlandish accusations about illegal activity in order to persuade people from sharing suspicious details about their business practices or a negative opinion about their products.
