I received an email from the company stating there desire to hire me. I answered there questions and was sent another email stating that I was offered the job. They then asked for my physical address and name. The very next day I received a package from fedex with a check enclosed and a not that said text this number to authorize the check. I did then went to have the check checked at the bank they used the bank said that the check was no good.

This email was sent to me again, my neighbor did not receive any delivery from Fedex yesterday; again, with the way the world is today and I did not receive the above, this is still making me leery if this really is a legitimate company.
Please provide me with the History of the Company, where the main office/headquarters is, etc…There is no formal format to your email to include the listing of your office with telephone numbers to contact or fax any information as well as just listing Human resources.
Please supply me with this information, also what is the tracking # for this package that I am suppose to receive.

Company posted job position on Glassdoor.com & I applied. Then emailed me regarding job interview questions. Then I was hired by email. Company told me to expect a check for work-related supplies. Instead I received a check from an Insurance Company from a claim that I had supposedly filed. The document was sent check via FedEx from a different company name and address. The enclosed check was from an OH insurance company. This check was made out to me; and had a claim# & policy# listed on the check stating that a claim had been filed presumably by me. I looked up the insurance company that was listed on the check and my call was forwarded to a gentleman by the name who handled the investigation division for the company. He wanted me to forward him all of the emails, pictures of documents, and text messages from the initial company who’d been corresponding with me for the job position that I had applied to and was hired for on 07/11/2016. His cell ph# is 770-363-0858 and office# is 770-914-2904. I did forward him all of the documents, emails, & text messages. He replied stating that he had received several checks bearing their company name with the same MO, mailed from the same company with paper note enclosed with contact instructions before depositing the insurance check into heir bank accounts. I called the insurance company first to verify why I was receiving a check for a claim that I did not file. The receptionist looked up the claim# and said that the claim was real, but fold under a different name. I assured her that I did not file the claim, nor had I ever lived in Griffin, GA. She transferred me to a Ms. Smallwood whose ph# is 877-242-2544 Ext 4326. After speaking with Ms. Smallwood, I was transferred to Mr. Pierce, whose information I have already listed above. Mr. Pierce also stated that he needed the original documents that I had received via FedEx. He was supposed to email me on 07/19/2016, to arrange a way for him to receive these documents. I have not heard from him since we first spoke on 7/15/2016. He told me that I could either mail the documents or meet him in a public place and give him the documents. He said that he’d just opened a file on this scam and needed all the proof so that he could decide the best way to handle the situation. When I didn’t hear from him today, I decided to report the scam on your site. I also found no listing of an insurance company by this name that offers homeowner’s insurance; only auto and life. So I’m not even sure if this company or these people that I spoke with at this company are legitimate. Thank you.
