Type of a scam Romance
I believe my mom may be being targeted by a scammer.
I don’t know all the details but she met this person on the Plenty of Fish dating site. From what I’ve heard of her conversations with him he says he has to travel to Germany for business so that’s why they can’t meet just yet. And it took my mom a lot of prying to get his last name. And he’s convinced her to look at houses for him to buy in the city where we live. My mom and I live in Bakersfield, Ca. I believe he’s testing the waters as it were to see if she’ll eventually give him money.
