not credit card but he offered student loan debt forgiveness. he took my social security number and wanted me to purchase a prepaid debit card to then load it with money to pay installments up to around a thousand dollars to then be free of my student loan debt. …i do not have a bank account so i have no money for him to electronically steal, BUT, i gave him my social security number and now i am scared.
these people are very clever and convincing. i was suspicious and even asked him "how can i be sure this isn’t a scam?" he still somehow had me thinking in the back of my head "man this is great. ill be out of debt."…his answer when i asked if he was a scam " because i’m good at what i do and i even moved 100 miles from home to take this job because i’m good at it." and he said " we’re on a recorded line"
