Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
My RC car is up for sale on Craigslist. Was contacted via text to email an address regarding the sale of said RC car. The reply email is formatted strangely. Buyer asks no questions about car and cannot meet to purchase due to "schedule". Mentions they are a US Marine . Pickup is to be arranged after a Certified Check is sent as payment, with additional funds for holding item. Poor grammar also indicator of potential scam. Have not/will not proceed with this transaction.
