I received a "restricted" call on my cell phone this morning. It left a message on my voicemail looking for my husband, saying both his first & last name. If this phone # was him, well "this is Josh Robinson calling to notify you that a legally required notice is being delivered to you between 2 & 5 tomorrow". –Yes, I find that weird as the time and date were NOT specific. The message said that he(meaning my husband) should call back with a claim # that "Josh" listed on the voicemail. Josh stated that it was coming form the "SILENT SENDERS OFFICE"… I can’t tell if the # that "josh" leaves is 877-or 377. I called the "877" 657-6244 and a guy answered the phone very curtly"BAYSIDE”.. (I called from one of the phone lines @ my place of work NOT my cell phone.) I called back and phone was answered differently (by an individual). I asked what the business was and he sounded cranky, said, "prelitigation",…"how did you get this #, do you have a claim #?" I said I was confused and must have dialed the wrong # and hung up…. (so there, that answers that, it must be "877" since he asked if I had a claim #. My gut feeling is this is some scam, to scare us/my husband to call, and maybe pay some phony $ so that our loan doesn’t get "messed up"?!?! any advice?
