Type of a scam Debt Collections
Said they were serving a court summons if I did not pay on an account I supposedly opened but never closed at my current bank. Verified with my bank that I owed nothing. Scammer refused to send a validation letter as required by law because that needed to come from the bank I "owed" but the bank said they couldn’t send because I owed them nothing. I am sick and tired of them calling me from different numbers and now even at work and with the government shutdown I can’t even file a complaint with the FTC. She refused to give me an address and the website that pulls for them shows nothing. Help!
