Nicolas contacted me via the Plenty of Fish website. He said he would send me money to help me pay bills. He wanted me to open a bank account and give him my user name and password. When I told him no, he got angry. I knew it was a scam, I was just humoring him. When I finally stopped talking to him, a few days later, I received an overnighted package from California and knew it was from him. It was a check written from a business account that doesn’t match the address listed on the check. He messaged me and told me It was made out for too much and wanted me to send $500 back to him. It wasn’t signed, so I told him I couldn’t cash it. He argued with me whether it could be cashed or not.
