Type of a scam Identity Theft

Missed a call and voicemail was left stating that I had a federal lawsuit against me in the state of Texas. Never lived or been there in my life. Called phone number back and a arab man answered stated his name is Steven Parker from the Social Security Administration of Texas. I supposedly have a lawsuit against me for fraudulent activity with stealing money and rental cars. They went to the apartment in Texas and stated no one was there at the address he stated to me. He wanted me to provide him all of my personal information. I have never done any illegal activity in my life. Steven said my name was used to get $100,000 and rental cars. Also he stated that there are charges pending against me and I can call social security or my lawyer.

Here is a link  https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/01/scammers-impersonate-social-security-a… an article posted last year by the Federal Trade Commission regarding this type of phone call.  Inside of the article are three phone number to a consumer can use to contact the Social Security Administration to check on the phone and their Social Security Number and the other two are to the Social Security Administration and Federal Trade Commission’s Fraud Hotline numbers to report these phone calls.
