Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was contacted on May 16,2019 by a Melissa Brooks saying I was approved for a $5000.00 loan, that I could use a co-signer or pay the first 3 months up front.. $480.00 and my monthly payment would be $159.00 per month for 3 years.. I had to WesternUnion the money to a David Cain in Ontario Canada.. I was told once the funds where received, the $5000.00 will be wired to my account… never happened, I tried calling for 2 days and all I got was a voice mail.. the 3rd day she (Melissa Brooks) answered and said they needed an additional $480.00 because of my credit score.. I refused and asked for a refund, she said it would take 20 days before they could send me my refund.. after the 20 days she said it was on its way.. never received anything and there phone number is no longer working…
