Good morning,
I am a licensed contractor; I receive emails quite often like the one attached in the screenshot. Basically, the person sends me an address and request that work be done in an expedited manner due to the fact that they are either buying or selling the property. They ask if I accept major credit cards and payment can be made with a credit card. They are always willing to give $1000 and more as a deposit. I am trained by the Army in cyber awareness so their emails scams are easy to spot. There is often poor grammar, and the fact that they’re willing to give money up front without even getting an estimate is the major indicator. I always look up the property address on the Pima County assessor’s website and it always shows that someone else owns the property. Please get this info out to the rest of the contractors.
