Type of a scam Government Agency Imposter
I answered a call on my cell phone yesterday and today from Social Security. The number in my caller ID was 202-931-5015.I do not remember the callers name. He stated he was with the Social Security Administration. It kind of spooked me. He said there was a claim against my social Security number. I thought the police would call not social Security. He asked for my Social Security number. He needed to confirm the number. I gave my entire Social Security number. He said there was car in Texas with blood in it.
