I received a call today from 212-845-9760, a man, Michael Messing, who said he was with the Consumer Protection Bureau, and I had won $525,000 as a second place winner in the American Sweepstakes and Promotion Company. He said I needed to pay 1% to an attorney to handle the paperwork. He did not have an accent, He said he was in New York. He said I was to call the Sweepstakes company’s phone number is 702-475-8963 to verify that I had won. He said the money would be deposited in my bank. He said I would have to fill out a regulation form. He gave me a claims debt claim number ASPCF0210. He sounded legit.
