Type of a scam Online Purchase

Shortly after applying for a loan from maxlend.com, we got a phone call describing our vehicles (only what you’d see on a loan credit check) and saying they were past due. They’re not past due. They offered to transfer us to their finance person to pay the past due balance. We said we would just call our bank in the morning. They said they use the same bank, and offered to transfer. They used the same first name of our bank, but not the entire bank name. What you would be able to see on our loan information, as well. So basically we applied for a loan but didn’t complete the forms, so no loan wa taken out.. but all our information is out there and scams have called us 20+ times today!

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I applied on line for a $100 loan abd was approved or $750 but had to call in ti verify the loan app. The rep asked all the same questions again. Then told me the min I coukd take was $150. He went on to explain that I would pay $13.60 for about 15 payments. The doc were emailed and I was asked to sign them, which I did. First payment was withdrawn with no problem. The second payment was for $46.45. I looked online and noticed that every other paymebt was for the same amount, 11 of them yo be exact. I would end up paying $525 for $150! I called to payoff the loan before the 3rd payment was due and they STILL wanted $189! In a few weeks I paid nearly 165% for my loan.
