Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
s my advance payment. l received the check today and it looked very suspicous. The supposed issuer of the check was a Ryan *** in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The check came from Dallas, Texas, and there was a note from a Mr. Marcos, on plain paper with the check instructing me to text 320-500-3553 with my full name to get an approval code to cash the check. I am buying it! I stopped right there and texted them the message “what kind of scam is this?
