Type of a scam Online Purchase
Found RV//Camper for "quick sale" on Craigslist, and after confirming that I would purchase, I got the run around to never answering the phone, but got text, to going to email, and last to pay via "Green Dot Cards" via eBay Buyer Protection program. I asked for them to remove from Craigslist (never did), and received sad story of dead husband and in military, getting ready to ship out of country. After some research, found out that eBay does NOT use Green Dot cards. The invoice really does look pretty real. When I said I would come look at it, I was told it had free delivery. Wow! The different names, and the run around should have been warning enough. I was stupid enough to give my address for delivery. Now what?
