My business was called by Radio Accounting Service and offered a 5-ad package for $380. They said part of it was to help veterans. Unfortunately, a part-time employee gave authorization for the purchase. When I called to say he wasn’t the owner and not authorized to make decisions, they played a recording where he stated he was the manager and authorized to make it. We then agreed to pay $95 a month in installments and possibly let the employee go.
When I researched this "business," I discovered the radio station does not exist (it did at one time in our hometown) and the "contact," a well-known radio host in town, had died at age 96 last spring!
I don’t know how these crooks live with themselves. We are a small business trying to pay the bills and they took advantage of us and veterans.
